After the December Board of Education meeting, the Edmond Public Schools Board approved Jenny Williams as the founding principal of Edmond’s newest elementary school, Post Oak Elementary, for the 2026–27 school year, and approved Linzi Clem as the principal of Will Rogers Elementary School for the 2026–27 school year.

Mrs. Williams has more than 20 years experience in education, the past ten as Principal and Assistant Principal of Angie Debo Elementary. Before that she was a classroom teacher in EPS and another district for 12 years. Mrs. Williams introduced the district to Conscious Discipline’s CARE Room concept that has since spread to all of our elementary schools. She earned her undergraduate degree in Elementary Education from the University of Oklahoma and two Master's degrees, one from OU and another from UCO. Mrs. Williams is excited to become the founding principal of Post Oak Elementary and looks forward to building a staff of educators who will hit the ground running when Edmond’s newest elementary opens in August of 2026.

Mrs. Clem is in her 15th year in education and has been a part of our incredible EPS team since 2012. Since 2021, she has been an Assistant Principal at Charles Haskell and Northern Hills. Before moving into administrative roles, she was a 3rd grade teacher both in Edmond and another metro district. Mrs. Clem was the 2018-19 Teacher of the Year at Chisholm Elementary. She earned her undergraduate degree in Elementary Education from Oklahoma Christian and her Master's in Educational Leadership from the University of Kansas. Mrs. Clem is thrilled to join the Wildcat Family and lead Will Rogers beginning next year.
Both of these new principals will remain at their current schools until the end of the 2025-26 school year.
