Welcome to the GATE Information Page!

Students who have qualified for Gifted and Talented Education, or GATE, participate in pull-out classes on a weekly basis.  These classes typically meet for 2-3 hours depending on the grade level.  GATE classes offer students the opportunity to be with others who think, learn, and perceive in the same way they do.

GATE students will be challenged through concepts and activities that require them to use higher level thinking, problem-solving, and research skills.  Activities in class will foster different learning styles while encouraging students to take risks that lead to greater learning.
