As a child, one of Mrs. Neill’s favorite games to play was “school.” She would teach her younger brother from old textbooks her teachers gave her. Mrs. Neill began singing in church and school at a very young age. Her interest in singing grew as she competed in high school vocal contests and performed in various musical productions. Wanting to pursue music as a career, Mrs. Neill decided to further her musical education at the collegiate level.
A native of Miami, Oklahoma, Kimberly moved to Edmond to complete her bachelor’s degree in vocal music education. Upon graduating from the University of Central Oklahoma, Mrs. Neill began her teaching career at Will Rogers Elementary. This year marks her ninth year of teaching at Will Rogers.
In her free time, Kimberly enjoys spending time with her husband, Robert Neill, and their precious baby boy, Nolan, and extended family. She is honored to represent Will Rogers as our 2016-17 Teacher of the Year.
